Previous studies have shown that NSCLC patients harboring canonical EGFR mutations (Exon 19 deletion or L858R) derive greater benefit from third-generation EGFR-TKIs (Gomez-Randulfe et al., 2025; Gristina et al., 2020; Borgeaud et al., 2024) with mutation subtypes significantly affecting cost-effectiveness estimates (Tian et al., 2024).
