In our study, we showed that sBCMA levels were higher in multiple myeloma patients as compared to healthy controls and that baseline sBCMA levels were significantly correlated with anemia, hypercalcemia, HR cytogenetics, thrombocytopenia, β2‐microglobulin, bone marrow plasma cells, and ISS as well as R‐ISS staging. This evidence concerns the gene HLA-G and hypercalcemia disease.
