Across all treatment arms, median CD4+ T cell counts showed modest declines from baseline at week 28 (Extended Data Fig. 1), but no trends were apparent in CD4+ and CD8+ T cell counts from baseline to post-baseline in a shift analysis of stages I and II based on the Division of AIDS Table for Grading the Severity of Adult and Pediatric Adverse Events (DAIDS) criteria, and/or categorization using laboratory-specific ranges (low, normal, or high) and/or CD4+ T cell-related AEs.
