The subcutaneous tumor excised 3 years postoperatively was a 7‐mm dermal tumor with microfollicular and trabecular growth patterns, oncocytic cytoplasm, high mitotic activity (25/10 HPF), and a Ki‐67 LI of 19%, as well as a previously resected thyroid nodule, indicating a metastatic/implanted oncocytic FTC (Figure 2e–h).
