Additionally, the shred sign on LUS is the strongest independent predictor of pneumonia (odds ratio (OR)=8.45, 95% confidence interval (CI): 3.2-22.3), followed by rapid breathing (OR=5.20, 95% CI: 2.1-13.5) and elevated CRP > 20 mg/L (OR=3.50, 95% CI: 1.5-8.5), while incomplete vaccination was not a significant predictor (OR=0.58, 95% CI: 0.3-1.2) (Figures 1-2).
