In the univariate analysis, the factors showing a significant association with the development of invasive syndrome in patients with KPLA were viral hepatitis (P < 0.001), biliary disease (P = 0.035), T2DM (P = 0.002), vomiting (P = 0.038), pulmonary infection (P = 0.002), septic shock (P < 0.001), CRP level (P = 0.046), abscess diameter (P = 0.025), presence of a gas-containing abscess (P < 0.001), and SOFA score (P < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and abscess.
