CRP and neoplasm: Initial laboratory evaluation showed normal white blood cell count (WBC 4.5-10 × 109/L), neutrophil percentage (40–75%), and C-reactive protein level (CRP < 5 mg/L), but demonstrated markedly elevated tumor markers: carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9 362.00 U/mL; reference < 27) and carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125 130.00 U/mL; reference < 35).
