By inhibiting PP1/PP2A activity, inducing apoptosis, interfering with protein synthesis, and triggering cell cycle arrest and autophagy, CTD significantly inhibits the proliferation of hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic carcinoma, colon carcinoma, and other solid tumors as well as leukemia cells (Huang et al., 2011; Hsia et al., 2015b; Ji et al., 2015; Su et al., 2015; Su et al., 2016; Liu et al., 2018). This evidence concerns the gene PTPA and leukemia.
