A similar immune profile was also observed in lung adenocarcinoma, where high FSTL3 levels correlated with a reduction of immune cell infiltration, including T lymphocytes and B lymphocytes in the TME [65], or in gastric and colorectal cancer where it was associated with poor prognosis, EMT, fibrosis, and changes in immunocyte composition. This evidence concerns the gene FSTL3 and colorectal cancer.
