In the year before testing, several clinical findings were more common among those with UBA1 variants: persistent or relapsing noninfectious fever (OR 3.9, CI: 1.0–19), unintended weight loss (OR 12, CI: 2.2–230), any type of skin involvement (OR 9.8, CI: 2.3–67), specifically leukocytoclastic vasculitis (OR 10, CI: 1.5–89), any type of chondritis (OR 9.3, CI: 1.9–44), and periorbital edema (OR 9.3, CI: 1.0–86). This evidence concerns the gene UBA1 and hypersensitivity vasculitis.
