The top six statistically significant protein-coding DEGs found to be downregulated in B-ALL samples were angiopoietin-like 1 (ANGPTL1), as well as gene products that function in immunoglobulin chain formation-associated immunoglobulin heavy constant alpha 1 and immunoglobulin kappa variable 3D-11 (IGHA1 and IGKV3D-11, respectively), adhesion-associated chondroadherin (CHAD), glycine-N-acyltransferase-like 1B (GLYATL1B), and a churchill domain containing 1-farnesyltransferase fusion gene product (CHURC1-FNTB) (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene CHURC1 and precursor B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
