PPARG and nasopharyngeal carcinoma: Evidences have shown that PPARγ agonists could inhibit cell proliferation of several human tumor cell lines, including nasopharyngeal carcinoma (Yang et al., 2019), glioblastoma (Wang et al., 2021a), diffuse large B cell lymphoma (Zhang et al., 2020), bladder cancer (Lv et al., 2019), etc. PPARγ agonist include natural PPARγ ligands and synthetic thiazolidinediones (TZDs).
