Our results have shown that after co-treatment with DC and GW9662, the proliferation inhibition, colony formation suppression and apoptosis induction of DC were completely blocked, and the cell cycle arrest at S phase was also significantly reversed in HT-29 cells, suggesting that PPARγ could be the potential target of DC to inhibit colon cancer cell proliferation. The gene discussed is PPARG; the disease is colonic neoplasm.
