Surprisingly, we identified a biphasic response to NF-κB inhibition in TSC2(−) AML cells, with an initial increase in Y705-STAT3 phosphorylation that subsequently decreased at the 24- and 48-h time points (0.8-fold and 0.6-fold, respectively) (Fig. 3 d). This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and acute myeloid leukemia.
