CD4 and infection: The results showed only gender, recent infection, and CD4 count to be significantly different between the two groups, where NCI group had more male participants (96%, p = 0.027), a lower rate of recent infection (NCI: 13.6%; no-NCI: 32.0%, p = 0.037), and higher CD4 counts (NCI: 418.5, IQR: 248.8–551.8; no-NCI: 212, IQR: 85.5–401; p = 0.023).
