Supporting this hypothesis, a recent paper reported an increased neoantigen-specific CD8+ T-cell response in marrow-infiltrating lymphocytes from pediatric patients with ALL, including a neoantigen from the good prognosis biomarker ETV6-RUNX1, evidencing a responsiveness of immune system in ALL patients carrying this fusion gene [12]. This evidence concerns the gene ETV6 and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
