More recent preclinical research has focused on the potential of HDAC6 inhibitors, particularly in combination therapies for cancers such as melanoma, glioblastoma, and various hematological malignancies [20,21,22,23], including multiple myeloma (MM), a still incurable plasma cell disorder characterized by abnormal proliferation of malignant plasma cells in the bone marrow [24,25].
