In the present study, one patient with BRAF-mutant melanoma (BRAFV600E), initially pT1bN0M0, clinical stage IB, pathological stage IA (AJCC 8th edition), with a Breslow index of 0.95 mm, located on the trunk, developed lymphatic and hepatic metastasis two years after the diagnosis, turning into stage IV (Figure 1). This evidence concerns the gene BRAF and melanoma.
