The PACMAN-AMI (Plaque Characterization with Alirocumab in the Global Assessment of Plaque Regression with a PCSK9 Antibody as Measured by Multimodality Imaging After Acute Myocardial Infarction) trial was a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study evaluating the effects of early alirocumab initiation on coronary plaque characteristics in patients with AMI. Here, PCSK9 is linked to myocardial infarction.
