Among the various autoantibodies, anti-Scl-70, anti-RNA polymerase III, anti-U3 RNP, and anti-Ro52 appear to be the most promising candidates for incorporation into future risk algorithms, as they consistently associate with myocardial fibrosis, arrhythmias, and pulmonary hypertension [19,23,28,35]. The gene discussed is TRIM21; the disease is pulmonary hypertension.
