When comparing the two groups with high and low arrhythmogenicity by gender, age, anthropometric indicators, number of components of the metabolic syndrome, family history, smoking, metabolic biomarkers (blood sugar (Gl), immunoreactive insulin, HOMA index, glycated hemoglobin, total cholesterol, triglycerides (TG), HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, non-HDL-cholesterol, apolipoprotein-A1, apolipoprotein-B) and atherogenic indices (TG/HDL, TC/HDL, LDL/HDL, LDL/Apo-B, TG/Gl, no statistically significant difference was found. Here, INS is linked to metabolic syndrome.
