CRP and infection: Levels of inflammatory markers (CRP, TNF-α, IL-10) were lower in the treatment group than in the control group (p < 0.01). In both groups, levels of Lactobailli were increased, and Enterococci with Peptococcus decreased. Probiotics with glucorticoids reduced the incidence of infection, abdominal distension, diarrhea, and other side effects.
