The nine (9) most expressed genes characterizing tumor heterogeneity were identified as follows: cell adhesion molecule 2 (Cadm2), myelin basic protein (Mbp), Rho-GTPase family member (Rnd2), synaptotagmin (Syt4), cyclin-dependent kinase 1B inhibitor (Cdkn1b), ankyrin repeat domain 37 (Ankd37), long non-coding RNA (Cahm), endoplasmic reticular oxygen reductase 1 alpha (Ero1a), and transmembrane glucose transporter protein (Slc2a3) (Figure 3D). The gene discussed is ANKRD37; the disease is neoplasm.
