We looked for the three main canonical pathways described as being involved in glioma genesis and altered in high-grade gliomas: p53, Rb and PIK3KC A loss in p53 was seen in HCB-GIC1, and preserved in HCB-GIC4, HCB-GIC19 and HCB-GIC20 cells. This evidence concerns the gene RB1 and central nervous system cancer.
