Specifically, there are four molecular types—endometrial cancer with mutations within the gene encoding epsilon polymerase (POLE Mutation POLEmut), with deficient mispaired bases (dMMR) and high microsatellite instability (MSI-H), with mutations in the TP53 gene and abnormal expression of p53 protein (p53abn), and endometrial cancer without a defined molecular profile (NSMP) [15].
