Using previously acquired data, we analyzed the expression levels of 18 genes (ANGPT1, ANGPT2, CCL2, CCL5, CSF2, CXCL8, FGF2, IL1A, IL1B, IL6, PDGFA, PDGFB, TGFA, TGFB1, TNF, VEGFA, VEGFB, and VEGFC) in peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) samples, as well as the plasma concentrations of six proteins (ANGPT-1, ANGPT-2, TGF-alpha, TGF-beta 1, VEGF-A, and VEGF-C) in a cohort of 40 patients with LEAD, 40 with AAA, and 40 with VV. Here, CCL5 is linked to triple-A syndrome.
