Studies conducted using sticky lipid vesicles with clustered HER2-targeting peptides loaded with [225Ac]Ac radionuclide for the treatment of breast cancer [175] have demonstrated that the sticky vesicles have a propensity to target HER2-negative breast cancer cells (MDA-MB-231 and MCF7) with some cytotoxic effect of 42–61%. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and breast cancer.
