The most frequently altered genes included PIK3CA (60%), KRAS (13%), PTEN (6.7%), NRAS (6.7%), IDH1 (6.7%), and BRAF (6.7%) in ca. planoepitheliale; KRAS mutations (42%) followed by PIK3CA, TP53, MAP2K1, GNAS, ERBB2, PTEN, and NRAS (all 8.3%) were noted in adenocarcinoma (Figure 2D). This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and adenocarcinoma.
