A study evaluating the presence of CD8+ cytotoxic T cells, FOXP3+ T-regulatory cells, and TAMs in 213 patients with PC demonstrated that a low stromal CD8+ cytotoxic T cell count was significantly associated with lymph node metastasis (OR 0.60, CI 0.37–0.98; p = 0.04) [67]. This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
