CRP and deep vein thrombosis: Notably, D-dimer (1.8 ± 0.6 vs. 0.5 ± 0.3 mg/L, p < 0.001), CRP (6.5 ± 2.3 vs. 3.2 ± 1.1 mg/L, p < 0.001), and procalcitonin levels (0.10 ± 0.04 vs. 0.04 ± 0.02 ng/L, p < 0.01) were markedly elevated in the DVT/PE group.
