In the multivariate logistic regression model, a backward selection approach was adopted with variables including cardiovascular diseases, septic shock, ventilator, Pitt bacteremia score, CRRT, ICU stay at onset of bacteremia, inappropriateness of empirical antibiotics, prior antibiotic use in 30 days, carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter spp., primary infection origin (urinary tract infection and pneumonia), WBC count, and albumin level (p < 0.05, univariate analysis). Here, ALB is linked to urinary tract infection.
