In CRC cells, inhibitors of miR-155-5p and miR-200a-3p raise RHEB mRNA and protein, whereas miRNA mimics reduce them, consistent with direct 3′-UTR targeting; elevated RHEB correlates with poor differentiation, higher Dukes stage, and nodal metastasis, linking this circuit to aggressive biology [39,40].
