Perioperative or chemotherapy-concurrent omega-3–enriched nutrition has shown reductions in CRP and signals for improved tolerance in clinical studies of GI/pancreatic cancer, including a randomized phase II trial in advanced PC (gemcitabine ± EPA); however, effects on lean mass, survival, and AC completion remain heterogeneous across trials [57,59,60,61].
