As shown in Figure 6H, we found that, compared with the WT-LSDV, infection by the LSDVΔORF137-EGFP strain showed no significant effect on IRF3 expression but had higher phosphorylation of IRF3 at 6 h after virus infection, which corresponds to lower virus replication at 6 h; however, with the increase in time, the difference in IRF3 phosphorylation on virus replication was not obvious, indicating enhanced activation of interferon signaling during the early stage of virus infection.
