Interestingly, plasma concentrations of granzyme A, IFNγ, IL-10, and LAG3 were higher on day 14 after asymptomatic infection among individuals that were still parasitemic compared to those that had cleared their infection by day 14 (Fig. S13), suggesting a link between persistent parasitemia and persistent Tr1 responses. This evidence concerns the gene IL10 and parasitic infectious disease.
