CD25 and CD69 were significantly upregulated, both in terms of expression levels (MFI) and percentage of positive cells, with 66.13% ± 16.72% CD25+ and 55.01% ± 17.13% CD69+ iNKT cells in individuals with obesity compared to 54.77% ± 17.55% and 43.96% ± 17.54% in lean individuals, respectively (Figures 3A, B). Here, CD69 is linked to obesity disorder.
