CER1 and infection: Since the genes Cytochrome P450 735A (CYP735A), Cerberus, NPL1, SCAR-Nodulation (ScarN), and SYMRK are reported to be involved in intercellular infection processes (Bhattacharjee et al. 2022; Fabre et al. 2015; Montiel et al. 2021; Qiu et al. 2015; Sharma et al. 2020; Xie et al. 2012), we analyzed the expression levels of their peanut orthologs in control, AhPUGN1.1-OE, and AhPUGN1.1-KD transgenic hairy roots.
