[46, 57] Previous studies have shown that YBX1 can maintain the stemness of CSCs and reprogram differentiated cancer cells into CSCs.[57] Our research confirms that YBX1 is highly expressed in GBM, and its expression positively correlates with the pathological grade of glioma, as well as with the expression of VRK1 and SOX2. This evidence concerns the gene YBX1 and central nervous system cancer.
