GAS5 and coronary artery disorder: In a study on the GAS5 single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs55829688, GAS5 was found to act as a competitive endogenous RNA for miR-223-3p, regulating the expression of the P2Y12 receptor, which in turn affects the response of coronary heart disease patients with poor metabolic genotypes of CYP2C19 to clopidogrel.
