Extensive studies indicate that PTK7 is overexpressed in various malignancies, including TNBC, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), OVCA, CRC, pancreatic cancer, and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.17–19 The overexpression of PTK7 is frequently correlated with poor prognosis, tumor metastasis, and insufficient overall survival.17,20,21 Given the absence of catalytic activity, the development of small-molecule inhibitors targeting PTK7 presents a considerable challenge. This evidence concerns the gene PTK7 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
