Four independent SNPs (PICALM, APOE, BCAM/NECTIN2, BIN1/NIFKP9) were associated with all-cause dementia at genome-wide significance (p<5×10-8) in EUR (Supplementary Table 5 & Extended Data Figure 2 and one SNP (APOE) in AFR (Extended Data Figure 3). This evidence concerns the gene NECTIN2 and dementia.
