CRP and cardiac arrest: While evaluating various established ML models (RF, XGBoost), this study identified demographic parameters (age, BMI), time-critical factors related to cardiac arrest (time until ROSC, initial shockable rhythm), and biomarkers of haemodynamics, inflammation, and organ function (lactate, pH, GFR, and C-reactive protein), which, when combined, offer superior predictive accuracy compared to traditional prognostic tools.
