A role for eLOX-3, 12R, or 12S-LOX in conditions or processes such as psoriasis [15,16,17,18,19], skin photodamage [20], atopic dermatitis [21,22], inflammation, or wound healing [18,23,24,25] is suggested but still remains to be clarified. This evidence concerns the gene ALOXE3 and atopic eczema.
