CSF2 and asthma: Higher levels of transforming growth factor (TGF)-beta, and lower levels of granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) and basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) was associated to persistent airway obstruction (FEV1/VC < 88%) in asthma (Cianchetti et al., 2019), but it is unknown, if they can predict it.
