Several therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals have been approved by the food and drug association such as 131I-MIBG (AZEDRA®) for the treatment of pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma [14], [177Lu]Lu-DOTA-TATE LUTATHERA®) for somatostatin receptor-positive gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors [15], [177Lu] Lu-PSMA-617 (PluvictoTM) for prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer [16], and [223Ra]RaCl2 (Xofigo®) for castration-resistant prostate cancer and symptomatic bone metastases [17].
