Based on the expression levels of the whole genome of HCC in TCGA and the GSEA algorithm, 12 KEGG pathways (Supplementary Figure S1A), including “KEGG_UBIQUITIN_MEDIATED_PROTEOLYSIS,” “KEGG_GLYCINE_SERINE_AND_THREONINE_METABOLISM, “ and “KEGG_LYSOSOME,” and eight HALLMARK pathways (Supplementary Figure S1B), including “HALLMARK_WNT_BETA_CATENIN_SIGNALING,” “HALLMARK_PROTEIN_SECRETION,” and “HALLMARK_MTORC1_SIGNALING,” were significantly enriched by SLC7A11. This evidence concerns the gene SLC7A11 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
