A detailed analysis of the baseline characteristics of the 84 patients with HCC is shown in Table 1: of the patients, 26.2% were aged more than 60 years, 89.3% were men and 10.7% women, 94.0% had an ECOG performance status of 0–1, 36.9% had hypertension, 38.1% had diabetes, 38.1% had coronary artery disease, 22.6% had hyperlipidemia, 42.9% had liver cirrhosis, and 47.6% had an upregulated SLC7A11 level. Here, SLC7A11 is linked to hypertensive disorder.
