Our comprehensive bidirectional in vitro experimental results demonstrate that salidroside mediates downregulating ACOT11 by upregulation of miR-1343-3p, leading to the accumulation of fatty acyl-CoA, reduced production of downstream products acetyl-CoA, FFA, and ATP, interference with lipid metabolism and energy production in GC cells, and ultimately inhibiting the growth of GC cells. This evidence concerns the gene ACOT11 and gastric cancer.
