SVs identified in the Mastiffs clade intersected with the introns of three genes: ABCB9, PITPNM2, and DENR, that last of which was found to have two intronic deletions and has been implicated in canine glioma susceptibility (Truve et al. 2016; Miller et al. 2019) (Fig. S6). The gene discussed is PITPNM2; the disease is central nervous system cancer.
