Age per 5-year increase [odds ratio (OR) = 1.27, confidence interval (CI): 1.02–1.55, P = 0.022], nadir CD4+ cell count (OR = 0.81, CI: 0.66 – 0.99, P = 0.042) and polypharmacy (OR = 3.47, CI: 2.00–6.00, P < 0.001) were associated with CF after adjustment for time since HIV diagnosis, multimorbidity, depression and cumulative exposure to dolutegravir. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and cystic fibrosis.
