CD4 and psoriasis vulgaris: At a cellular level, deep immunophenotyping revealed distinct baseline immune profiles corresponding to clinical phenotypes, with Patients 1 and 3 displaying a Th17-predominant profile (elevated IL - 17A-producing CD4+ and CD8+ T cells), which is associated with large-plaque psoriasis, while Patient 2 exhibited a T1-predominant profile (increased IFN-γ-producing T cells), which is linked to her small-plaque, follicular phenotype.
