Invasive ductal carcinoma, the commonest histological type, showed heterogeneous molecular subtypes: 35.9% were of Luminal A, 11.9% of Luminal B (HER2−), 8.0% of Luminal B (HER2+), 5.2% of Basal‐like, 2.3% HER2+ (non‐luminal), and 36.7% of unknown molecular type (see Figure 5 and supplementary material, Table S12). The gene discussed is ERBB2; the disease is invasive ductal breast carcinoma.
